I am Here
My heart, though in my chest,
rests firmly in His hands.
The soul that I’ve protected long,
now His, right where He stands.
There’s no more hiding, no more doubt
He knows just what I need.
I will serve and I must speak –
His dominance, mine to feed.
A look, a word, a crooked smile
reminds me of my place.
He takes my chin and tilts my head
I cannot hide my face.
I’m breaking down the walls,
I give Him every thing I can.
He leads with strength and patience,
His confidence, a firm hand.
He is my love, my Husband –
Now I can call Him Sir!
He is my very favorite person –
So much more than I deserve.
